Community Action Plan & Projects

The Deans Marsh Community Action Plan 2020 - 2030 (The Plan) was created by the Deans Marsh & District Community with support of the Deans Marsh Cottage in 2019.
 

The Deans Marsh Community Action Plan 2020 - 2030 and the related projects are overseen by the Deans Marsh Community Action Network (CAN).
 

With financial support from the Surf Coast Shire, and facilitated by an independent consultant, a Working
group of local community members spent much of 2025 updating the 2020 Plan. The goal of the updating
process was to make the Plan more user friendly, add new information which had come to hand since The
Plan was originally written and to list the successful outcomes The Plan has already generated.
None of the core information of The Plan was altered.

In the final CAN meeting of 2025 the updated Community Plan was
presented to representatives of the 7 formal groups in town and was unanimously endorsed.
