More than Just Farmers

What a wonderful celebration of “More Than Just Farmers” we had last Friday evening!

It was fantastic to see so many people coming together, connecting with community and learning more about the local services available to support mental health.

We were honoured to welcome our special guest, Robert ‘Charlie’ Earl, and to share a special screening of Just a Farmer, which sparked meaningful and important conversations among attendees.

A huge thank you to our dedicated working group — Belinda Mackenzie, Jeff Clissold, Terry Richardson, Brett Smart, Luke Considines, Paul Holohan and James Maund — for their hard work in bringing everyone together.

We’re also incredibly grateful to Charlie Earl for his insightful and heartfelt talk, and to the representatives from Neami National, Let’s Talk Colac, headspace Colac, Colac Area Health and Great Ocean Road Health for being part of the evening and sharing valuable information and support.

Delicious potatoes, drinks and desserts — along with special show bags — were enjoyed by all, thanks to the generous support of the National Centre for Farmer Health and Surf Coast Shire.
