Music@theMarsh Back to its Roots

The hall was buzzing, the dance floor was pumping, and the Blues were well and truly alive at Music @ the Marsh!

What a sensational night it was — a great atmosphere, and that unmistakable vibe that took us straight back to the “good old days.” From the first note to the final encore, the energy in the room was back to its roots!

A massive shout out to the powerhouse Music @ the Marsh crew who made it all happen. Led by Noah Fagan, with the ever-charismatic James McLennan as MC keeping the crowd entertained between sets, the night ran seamlessly.

Kath Leeson and Jo Zydbel kept the bar humming, while Lily Marrotta greeted guests at the door with a warm welcome. These events don’t just happen — they’re powered by passionate locals who love bringing our community together.

The stage was lit with homegrown talent who absolutely delivered. Frazey from Lorne P–12 College impressed the crowd, alongside standout performances from Brad James, Josh Goddard and Joel Walter. A special mention to Noah, Justin, James, Joel and Steve, whose collaboration brought serious depth and rhythm to the night. The calibre of local musicianship on display was something to be proud of.

And then came the headline acts.

Jennifer Jae and Back Alley Sally turned up the heat and had the crowd on their feet, boogying along to Blues classics with gusto. The dance floor filled quickly and stayed that way — proof that live music, done well, is pure magic.

With momentum building and community spirit high, Music @ the Marsh is well and truly hitting its stride. If this night was anything to go by, the next event is going to be something special.

Stay tuned — you won’t want to miss what’s coming next.
