This National Carers Week, the Deans Marsh Community Cottage would like to recognise and thank the more than 3 million Australians who provide unpaid care to a family member or friend — and especially the carers within our own community.
To all the carers in our community and beyond, thank you for the time, compassion, patience and love you give to others.
Caring can be rewarding, but it can also come with challenges, and it’s important to remember that carers need care and support, too.
This week, we celebrate you, acknowledge your contribution and remind you that your wellbeing matters.
