
The Deans Marsh Community Dinners Program has been an incredible success over the past two and half years thanks to all who have been involved. The programs’ purpose is to bring together all demographics of community and allow space and opportunities for the creation of new friendships and support networks through a shared meal.
In 2025 the Deans Marsh Community Cottage will continue to operate the Community Dinners Program to deliver a monthly community dinner, on the first Friday of each month, from April to December 2025. The Dinners will be held in the Deans Marsh Community Hall from 6pm – 8.30pm.
Expressions of Interest for a Community Dinners Coordinator
To make next year's Community Dinner Program another great success – we are looking for an energetic person who is organised, enjoys cooking for large groups, working with people and autonomously, has strong administration skills, can work to a budget and has a passion for the wellbeing of the community.
Reporting to the Cottage Coordinator the Community Dinners Coordinator will deliver the Deans Marsh Community Dinners and Food Support Program. The Program will deliver a dinner event for up to 100 community members on the first Friday of each month from April to December 2025.
The role will be part-time for a fixed term, and approximately 20 hours a month. Flexible working arrangements available. A hand over from the current Dinners Coordinator will be provided and support is available as needed.
