Positive Aging month at The Cottage
Tuesday 20th October was a special morning at the Cottage, with a wonderful morning of games, laughter and intergenerational connection!
Sue Cole, Surf Coast Shire Positive Ageing representative, teamed up with Russell, Principal of Deans Marsh Primary School, to bring together the Grade 1 and 2 students and their older counterparts for some cheeky, fun-filled games. There were plenty of smiles, friendly competition and connections made across the generations!
We were also delighted to have Rose Salvo from Surf Coast Shire join us, continuing to make herself as useful as ever!
The fun was followed by a lovely morning tea
hosted by Sue in the Hall — the perfect way to wrap up a special morning celebrating community and connection.
A big thank you to Sue, Russell, Rose, the students and everyone who came along to make the morning such a success.
